Share the Shuffle
A while ago (in fact, getting into the realms of a long time ago) I was tagged by the lovely Deb at My Boys Club to share the top 15 songs on my shuffled playlist. It might have taken me a while to write about it, but I happily accepted the challenge.
I was brought up around music. It was, is and always will be one of the corner stones of my life. Although I am classically trained in singing, my musical taste is eclectic. Don’t expect a straight forward shuffle within a genre, that’s just not how I roll. The musical influences on my playlist reflect my childhood, the early days of dating my husband, and songs that I sing and dance to with my boys. Songs that calm me down and songs that energise me, they’re all there.
So without further digression I’ve hit shuffle and here are my 15 tracks:
Take Me To Church – Hozier (NB – below is the Parental Advisory version!)
At Last – Etta James
Country Roads – John Denver
The Boxer – Simon and Garfunkel
Waltz 2 – Dmitri Shostakovich
Anchor – Novo Amor
Rainbow Connection – Trespassers William
Havana – Camila Cabello
Perfect Duet – Ed Sheeran & Beyoncé
Walking On Sunshine – Katrina & The Waves
Shake It Off – Taylor Swift
L’Abandon – From the movie Coco Avant Chanel
Wonderwall – Oasis
In The Army Now – Status Quo
Brother In Arms – Dire Straits
So these are mine, but what would top your playlist if you hit shuffle? Let me know!

What a very diverse list! #blogstravaganza
Haha, yes I do have a rather eclectic taste when it comes to music!
Wow what an eclectic mix here. My faves (and also on my shuffle) are Wonderwall and Perfect. In fact Wonderwall was the song we all broke into on my 40th birthday party at the end of the night x #Blogstravaganza
How lovely! Wonderwall is a great song x
We went to Liverpool over the weekend and visited Penny Lane and Paul McCartney’s childhood home, so my playlist currently consists of nothing but The Beatles! #Blogstravaganza xx
Ah, I lived 2 minutes from there when I was at university. Wonderful place! xx
