Welcome to my Time Traveller series!
I love history, from the dark depths of centuries gone past, to more recent years. So I’ve reached out to my fellow bloggers and small business owners and asked if they could go back in time, when would they travel to and why?
This week I’m joined by Joanne from Winging Mama-hood:
Imagine time traveling being an actual thing? Wow how cool would that be?! Don’t get me wrong I’d love to experience and compare the differences in centuries but certain parts of history are better off saying exactly where they are. I think we could all agree on that one!
Anyway, that being said. If I could go back in time to just ONE period of history I’d definitely go back approximately 66 million years to see the dinosaurs. Imagine!
I’m not one to ask for too much honestly I’m not but I totally wouldn’t want to go back as a human. Since the word dinosaur means “terrifying lizard” I’d probably last around 2 seconds if that! That thought is just far to terrifying for me to cope with.
So what would I want to be? Hmm I think I’d much prefer to magically turn into a little rock In the distance. (Pftt like time travelling isn’t enough!)
I often wonder what it would’ve been like to see a dinosaur up close and personal. What did they eat?! (They no doubt wouldn’t think twice about gobbling us up I know that!) but with some being meat eaters and the others being plant eaters did that mean they’d eat each other? I can’t imagine there being any other form of meat! Just the thought of experiencing the sound of the humongous steps coming towards us is out of this world.
Anyway on a different note completely I’d have LOVED to be part of the Apollo 11. For those who didn’t know (where have you been? ) it was the space flight that landed the first 2 humans on the moon.
Walking on the moon. I mean, how surreal would that be? Knowing that this very moment would go down in history and be remembered for SO many years to come, that’d be incredible.
So yeah they’re 2 of the most opposite periods of history ever and I don’t think they could be any different if I tried! Saying that, i could’ve time traveled back to yesterday’s tea time. Oh my lord. That Chinese was just something else. I wonder if that’d be possible? Rather than spend more money on Chinese takeaways I could just go back to the Friday the 13th April 2018 over and over and over . The day where Joanne ate most delicious chicken chow mein ever. Mmm.
Thank you Joanne! Oh if you find a way to go back to the Apollo 11 mission please do take me along too!!
